THE BATH EIGHTEENTH CENTURY MASQUERADE BALL 2023
We are delighted to announce that the 2023 Bath Minuet Company Ball will be going ahead on 1st April 2023. This year's ball will be held in honour of Stuart Marsden, our Dancing Master for the last 4 Balls and mischievous Harlequin at our 30th Anniversary Masquerade Ball in 2018.
The Museum of London website will give you some background on 18th Century Masquerades and inspiration for suitable costumes.
Order of the evening’s 18th Century Costumed Ball:
Ballroom doors open 7pm
Limited changing facilities are available, strictly from 6.30 in the Guildhall Kaposvar Room. You can also arrive in costume. Coat racks will be available.
Dancing commences 7.30pm
For our 2023 ball we have Liz Bartlett as our Caller, and music from the Welsh Baroque Players led by Marc Elton.
Supper interval 9pm - 9.45pm
Please bring your own picnic and drinks to enjoy. Tables and chairs will be provided. There will be a water fountain to refill bottles.
Carriages 11.00pm
Please clear up your own rubbish, and take as much of it home with you as possible.

Aimed at beginners, it offers the chance for you to learn some of the dances which will be called at the ball, prior to the event. Please wear comfortable flat shoes suitable for moving in, and bring your own bottle of water. No costume needed for the dance workshop.
